The way out of the crisis goes through “more Europe” and a “better Europe”. The development of a connected digital single market could generate up to 250 billion Euros of additional growth in the next five years. The goal is to seize new opportunities in the twenty-first century without sacrificing effective rules to protect personal data online. The crisis is not over. It has just been put on pause. What we need is to recreate a process of convergence, both between Member States and within societies, with productivity, job creation and social fairness at its core. We need more Union in our Europe.
